No, that stuff isn't publicly available until the first appearance happens. Sometimes the judge will have his admin pass copies to the press during or after. The reason is that the state has an opportunity to have the court black out any inappropriate details, such as victim or witness info, addresses, or the identity of any sexual assault victim.

I could also see screaming at a woman on the phone being seen as an argument with a woman and Arnold told him to keep it down.

Okay, thank you. So in all likelihood, what we know from the "arrest warrant" is stuff someone in the media received from someone with NOPD, not an actual report they've viewed.

To be honest, I’ve come a lot closer to hitting my fiancée than hitting some strange 60 year old.

On a serious note, I could see something like grabbing her arm while arguing be misconstrued as hitting a woman by the time the story is told a few times
Chances are in an argument with a female that is going to draw the attention of bystanders, it's unlikely he just full on punched her. A loud argument with some pushing or forceful grabbing, etc seems more likely to me.

Have you ever interacted with Supermoto? In his mind, it's not only acceptable, it's encouraged.

Im more curious as to who the woman was that he was having an altercation with at 1:30 am...if his girlfriend wasnt there

They have to have some security footage that show everything that went down

it's an interesting question assuming the story about an altercation with a woman turns out to be true.

I don't know anything about the area but some have speculated there is a convenience store nearby. I assume they have several cameras that might have caught some or all of it.

Right. NOPD PIO could have released it because they know they didn't write anything inappropriate for the public in the warrant. Or nopd, court staff, jail deputy, etc could have leaked. A lot of times the reporters have good relationships with certain officers and will get to see it early because the reporters agree to not identify anyone.

Thanks for all of the clarity you've provided in this thread. Any idea something will be released for the public? Are we waiting until his first court appearance after the bail hearing?

While the arrest warrant for the murder charge isn't availavle until the first appearance, the arrest warrant for the 2nd degree battery charge has been available and is likely what Emily Lane from nola viewed before writing her story yesterday. LINK
In the article she refers to specific things the arresting officer wrote which she likely learned from the first warrant.

The murder warrant is likely going to be a copy and paste of the 2nd degree battery warrant with the added information of the victim passing away. (Unless they uncovered more information since the initial incident, but I doubt it.)

That's What I said 11-ty billion pages ago. This info is probably coming from the police report from the initial arrest.

Very true

Looky here guys

quote:

The NOPD did not say in the release what motivated the beating, and the warrant does not refer to circumstances that led to it.
So, the arrest warrant for the battery does not mention him beating on a woman.

Once again, families story fails the ole smell test

The police report contains alot more shite in it than the warrant. And it's public. Someone go get the motherfricker.

StarLord1 1 day ago Has there been any report on what caused these two people to encounter one another?

@StarLord1 The paperwork we've so far been able to review has not provided answers to that. NOPD did not mention it in their release, either. We'll be sure to follow up when we learn more. Thank you for reading.

So they havent put it in the warrant, or official paperwork handed over to the media

But detectives are going around telling family members
