What was even more incredible is that JJ was back on the team and starting at the soonest possible moment despite Jarrett Lee's performance over the season up to that point.
Personally I thought Les really messed everything up doing that.

Oh I'm aware, just didn't feel like Les punished JJ at all. On top of that Jarrett Lee was playing really well. Just seemed like Les was undermining team discipline to prop up JJ as the starting QB starting at the Kentucky game. I felt like he took a lot of reps away from Jarrett Lee from that point on and LSU had a historically bad offense with JJ under center.

That's a given. Everyone knows Les loves his "dual threat" qbs. Also, football players got preferential treatment when it came to the law.
