The Independant article said the first two boys emerged ahead of schedule...I hope that’s correct.

Well it’s 725 pm over there.

Lets say they started the operation at daylight. Thats just over 12 hours ago

I’d say that’s about right

Now reporting a 4th boy has reached the cave entrance and a 5th and 6th are at the third chamber, meaning they hit the home stretch that is mostly walkable I believe.

Looks like they were a couple hours ahead of schedule in getting the first 2 out. The conditions must have cleared up a little in the cave.

Thank God for good news this am. How those rescuers must feel physically and emotionally.

They didn’t expect anyone to be out until 930 or 10pm

Ahh well then that’s great news. Hopefully they can keep up this pace and put an end to this nightmare.

They said it’s about a 10-11 hour round trip

Damn. I had no idea.

I wonder how they choose the order of which kids got to go first?

4 boys to walk out soon, so that makes 7. -Maybe the whole team within the next couple hrs is my guess.

Conditions might not be as dire with all the water thats been pumped out. I read over 35mil gallons.

Everyone involved in that rescue is going to need mental evaluations.

Four boys expected to ‘walk out’ soon - AFP reports

Lieutenant-General Kongcheep Tantrawanit has said another four of the boys are expected to walk out “shortly”.

They are currently at the divers’ “base camp”, inside the cave system, he said, according to Agence France Press.

“Four boys have reached chamber three and will walk out of the cave shortly,” he said,.

Twitter has a video of an ambulance leaving the site.

A reporter at the scene has apparently been told by rescue teams at the entrance of the cave that the lowered water levels have shortened the journey out of the cave.

Many chambers are reportedly walk-able now, which would go some way to corroborating the Reuters report.

Further rain, however, is forecast later today.

They’ll probably just have a stiff drink and go on about their lives.

As much as I would like to watch, I’m glad they banned the media. No need for them to get in the way and who knows what kind of condition these kids are in.
