The house I posted is owned by a guy who lives around the corner off Reymond. It's big and has multiple entrances. I assumed college kids rented it.

I'm lost to exactly what was setting off BingWaterTiger earlier. He seemed to be either trolling or is just a dick in general.
He's calls out people for being wrong for their view or opinion on something. Ask for factual information about a subject in hand but offers up nothing to back up his own opinion, whatever that actually is.

Absolutely checks out
I have nothing against cops in general. However, the BRPD is just exceptionally gifted at being completely apathetic to crime that affects public safety. The Ascension Parish Sheriffs Office is probably the most professional law enforcement unit I've ever interacted with. It's a shame that BRPD officers earn their sour reputation.

I don't think they use the same data we do. Their data sources aren't public data but a mixed bag of collected and public.
And he may be partially correct/misled. The LLC owned it since 2010. But Bob also said it's not listed as a current halfway house.
Could be LSU students renting it at one time and halfway house another.

BRPD was repeatedly called out for not only ignoring the illegal panhandlers and the shady business in these parking lots but for basically ignoring property crime and violent crime all-together while dedicating tremendous resources for what is essentially tax-collection via policing.
He took offense to the first hand accounts I posted of BRPD officers being belligerent, unhelpful, incompetent, and straight up refusing to do their jobs.

I have been doing my best to keep up with this thread, but just wanted to say that that house posted is sketchy as shite.
I drive by it everyday for work and notice general trashiness and people hanging out on the front porch. No familial relation, not college students. Had two people walk off porch in pajamas with drinks and cigs in hand.

Just curious how easy it is to contact Chris nakamoto (sp?) and see if he can get some attention on the matter. Panhandlers and now straight up house robberies in southdowns since Sunday, it's a bit worrisome
