Unsafe shopping centers in BR? -- Hobby Lobby on college drive

I have always noticed the bums always in the parking lot and hanging out at that closed restaurant on the end. Some mighty fine upstanding shoppers going to other the stores in the next to hobby lobby.
Wish Hobby Lobby would clean this shite up because so many women and old ladies could get robbed if it hasnt happened already.

They are putting one up on siegen. Maybe they will close the college one.
There are a lot of bums on siegen though so I guess it's a wash.

While I see panhandlers by the street in front of the place constantly, I have never heard of or seen a single instance of someone being hassled in the parking lot.
One of the worst "unsafe shopping centers" has to be the Wal-Mart neighborhood market on Airline at Old Hammond. The junkies hitting up people for money and hassling people in the parking lot there are out of control. I keep trying to get my SO to stop shopping there until they do something to clean it up, but she keeps going despite us having been aggressively solicited on numerous occasions.

I'm way less worried about bums than I am about another demographic.

Better question would be what shopping centers are safe in BR?

Gamestop nerds are the worst.

across the street at Walmart I've noticed ANOTHER trend.
This has happened twice in last month. Three junkies parked in busy area of the lot, hanging around their car. Then they will split up and hit up multiple shoppers walking to cars. "We need some gas money to get back to Lafayette" or some shite.

Never once have I had a problem at Town Centre, Hammond Aire, Siegan Marketplace, Millerville (Target/Best Buy), Siegan Plaza, or the Mall of Louisiana. Perkins Rowe has had issues with car break-ins in the past, but I have never encountered any problems or suspicious activity.

i have witnessed this in HL parking lot. I expect that at Walmart which is why i hardly ever go. Hell it happens at Albs. but that is my grocery store closest to my house.
The game stop nerds is not what I was referring too. There are a couple stores that attract a certain demographic.
Hell my SO just sent me a text about her being circled by a sketchy van three times in the parking lot. Once when she was walking to our car with our 8 month old. She gets in the car, and they circle the car twice. Said she was freaked out.
This is what prompted the thread

That Wal-Mart parking lot is really bad, and gets straight up dangerous at night. There have been multiple shootings at that IHOP. I refuse to shop there after 9:00pm.

Jesus. Paranoid much? You are complaining about something that could theoretically happen based on a van looking for a good parking spot? You might need to move to a gated compound with 24 hour armed security and never leave.

my point was that it seems like maybe BRPD needs to start cleaning up the area somewhat.

Whoa now! You should be well aware that recognizing a potential problem and doing something about it proactively is RACIST!!! According to the current administration anyway.
But... You are 100% correct now that you clarify your point.

Bumbs don't really hurt anyone. Just ask for a dollar and that's about it
