I personally wouldn't drive it until they figure out what's going on. I know that's not completely feasible in most situations.

Yeah not feasible to not drive it. What would you recommend I put in.

My wife relayed to me that her vehicle made a horrible starting noise after she filled up at Murphy's in Prairieville about a week ago. No issues since.

Got a tank full from the shell on Perkins... Little sandwich place in b/w seigen/bluebonnet. Ran like shite for a week. It shook viloently when started and got terrible gas mileage. Brought it in to price Leblanc and they said all they could do was drain the tank to the tune of $180 or just run the rest of the tank out. It was throwing the same codes the other 50 or so vehicles that were brought into in the last 4-5 days. I put in a can of sea foam and it got right tater quickly. I was concerned b/c not only my engine light was blinking but traction control and others came on... Running fine now. I got texaco in pville on Monday afternoon.

That's crazy... Guy told me that it was something with the ethanol content being too high.

Thats what a service guy at all-star said, reasoning that toyotas are more finely tuned than other cars... sounds like utter bs to me. Would like to hear if anyone here has had issues with other makes.

frick unleaded fuels. Everything was going fine till the government claimed lead was dangerous and made producers stop making leaded fuel. Bring back leaded fuels

hey, it was cheaper. and my galaxie 500 rocked to regular 'leaded' gas.

eta adding corn syrup to gas was a PURELY POLITICAL decision. had nothing to do with pure gas being dangerous so quit trying to compare the two, you fricking communist.

Wife's car was having similar issues. I was dreading dropping the fuel tank for a fuel pump swap when I read a similar thread on the outdoor board.. I ran the tank down to less than half and filled up with 93% (different station of course).. No issues since then.

No. My service manager has talked to multiple dealers and they're having issues too.
