I bet that poor guy is in ICU now.

Do you even read the terms and conditions when you purchase your tickets?
Have you? United's contract of carriage is actually not that well written for addressing when you are on the plane and the IDB happens. There is space to work for a lawyer.
This could come down if it is refusal to transport instead of denial of boarding.

As is evidenced by the multitude of posts you have already made and are continuing to make to tell people they are wrong, when it isn't definite that they are.
Posting my opinions doesn't mean I care about yours.

A quick look at your post history shows 28 posts from you in this thread, and about 100 posts in yesterday's threads about this topic. But please, keep telling us how you don't really care about this topic.
Holy fricking creepy.
Also, I never said what you're trying to attribute to me.

You've made 130 posts in less than 2 days about the topic. Link yourself.
Still creepy.

It made sense financially to handle this situation in a multitude of other ways instead of the way they chose to. It made sense financially for the CEO to not place the blame on the passenger.
You really don't know the difference?
Interesting.

I'm perfectly happy with the questions I am asking and have asked.
Good for you.
I don't answer stupid questions with any amount of seriousness.

United's contract of carriage
It's interesting that the "experts" here continue to pretend this is the only relevant document.

Why should ANY passenger suffer because UNITED screwed up and could not get their people where they need to be???
Because it's not their plane. We don't have to like it.

Almost as bad as Bill Nelson.
The difference is that the bosses of United and the airport police now have to explain their employee's actions to Bill Nelson and the Senate subcommittee.
They don't have to tell Geraldo hello.

YOU are missing the point.... Why should ANY passenger suffer because UNITED screwed up and could not get their people where they need to be???
United had no choice. Neither did airport security.
You know nothing of DOT rules and regs. The crew could not get to their destination due to weather. So they had to get a jump ASAP, in order to have the time to go thru pre-flight for their next leg
United had no choice. Either bump these 4, cancel an entire flight that would have no crew and possibly pay outrageous penalties for the crew not meeting certain regs
They probably didn't think the crew was going to make it, once they began boarding. When they showed up at the gate. Denial time

Then exactly what are you posting your opinions in response to?

Do you know you're lying when you do this? Or do you actually believe the things you're typing?

Apparently we can creepy to that list of words you don't know the meaning of.

Nope. So please, attempt to spell it out for me.

It's quite obvious from your posts on this thread that you don't answer any question with any amount of seriousness.

United contract of carriage; section 25
So again, I have yet to see any one show me anywhere where he can be bumped at the discretion of United.

That isn't true. It only appears that way because there are so many stupid questions.

You missing the point. Due to overbooking, which is something airlines can do legally, when a flight doesn't have enough cancellations and there are more people on the flight that seats, they have a system in place to determine who they will take off the flight.
Unless I am missing something, the only thing that United screwed up was the was they removed the guy from the plane.

Well you are.... FRom what I have seen, United mesed up because A CREW HAD to be on that plane.. So they chose to remove pAYING customers to take another flight so that THEIR crew could get to Louisville...............
