We sing Happy Birthday first thing in the morning as we place the baby Jesus in our homemade manger scene in the front yard.

I put out an aluminum pole with a very high strength-to-weight ratio. It requires no decoration. I find tinsel distracting.

My wife wanting to spend the whole damn day and night at the in-laws evern though it's just never ending mind numbing small talk like every other gathering and everyone else shows up for a reasonable 2-3 hour visit
