Gentrification is good for most but it is sad when hardworking but poor people are displaced because they can't afford the property taxes because the surrounding homes gain so much value.

Those are exactly the types that should not be displaced. The thugs and criminals should be shipped off to some no-man's land, but I feel bad for the blue collar elderly family who has to move because they can't afford the taxes.
