In the annals of criminal masterminds, I am putting this guy at the bottom.

At least restaurant and bar patrons probably have some cash. IT'S A DAMN TEACHER, everyone knows they don't get paid jack and certainly aren't carrying cash.

wrong.i don't think that people are "obsessed" but rather protective of the things that they have worked hard for and earned.especially when some pos mouthbreathing leech thinks he/she is entitled to something they had nothing to do with.

I'll give you an up vote because you're just dressing it in a way that makes you feel better.

Skin it down to its bone, especially in This world were you can insure just about anything, should it really matter that much if you can replace it ? I think the feeling of having your safety and your sensibilities and comfort in a society, at home, in your neighborhood largely outweigh things that ultimately can be replaced or in the grand scheme of things really don't matter.

When you attach yourself to perishable stuff, this is what happens. People should have an identity And agenda that can stand and outlive material things.

But that's probably too much to ask for.

I fcking sound like Buddha but I'd be damned if I would ever attach myself to something that can be gone in a second.

My accomplishments and hardwork can never be taken away from me even if the tangible portion of it disappears.

Because if the government outlawed guns, the armed robbery type folks will be the first in line to turn them in.

I don't agree with your points, but your random capitalization is amusing.

People will go to whatever lengths to defend it because other people will go to whatever lengths to take it from them.

Man, imagine imagine the odds of getting robbed when you only go to work 2/3rds of the year!

It's not the British anymore, but the idea of the citizens protecting themselves from their government is not obsolete.

Cool. Let's get rid of the first amendment too. You shouldn't have the right to bash the second amendment.

Government has already started on Freedom of the press so the first is slowly eroding.

Just get rid of all of them amendsments cause they were written so long ago on paper! Paper?! Who uses paper anymore?!

...and this whole thing here from sjwcoopreed...

It's the most barbaric and outdated amendment we have. It serves us, literally no purpose in 2015. For all our exceptionalism, you'd think we'd be smarter than the rest of the world and would have ditched it along time ago. It was useful when our framers and first settlers had to fend off the British and conquer the new world. That threat is gone now and has been gone since the mid 1800s. Everything after that has just been wasteful. But I think it's extended "relevance" is a by product of capitalism. For all its good, people are obsessed with their material goods and their attainment of $ and capital and property and will go to whatever lengths to defend it, even if it means. Blood. As a Christian, fighting for the death for worldly things is kinda like worshiping a false God, something you think a "Christian" nation would get a grip of. Ultimately, it's the best system we have and the best system for growth and potential. But this just seems to be one of the things that comes with it

One thing I've learned about anti 2A people is that they're always the first ones to say they wish they had a gun when shite goes south.
