This topic is the only topic he steadfastly refuses to discuss. The only acknowledgement I’ve received from him is he nodded his head “yes” when I asked him if there’s things out there that defy explanation.

Then to my primate brain, this can only mean 2 things.

We're dealing with trans-dimensional travelers, or we're all in a game simulation.

Because these craft don't follow basic physics. Don't make sonic booms when traveling at insane speeds, can turn on a dime, don't leave any sort of contrail when traveling through the atmosphere...

Don't ask me how all tha works, but until someone shows me how that sort of advanced tech can do those things, I'm leaning towards other than standard physical craft.

Pretty sure Congress just created a department within DoD who will do nothing but investigate UFO's. (And no, I don't mean the old ATIP program that Harry Reid started). Basically it will be a modern day "Project Blue Book" but with a bigger budget and a lot more people. They will have access to all the classified data (radar, satellites and other "sensors"). They are supposed to report to Congress once a year. Unfortunately their reports will be classified.

So, yeah, they are "looking into it."

To start, I'm a skeptic. I self-describe as one being in the SETI crowd, of the belief that it's likely 'intelligent' life is out there, we're just too isolated to have found any evidence for it yet. So yes, I find the topic interesting to the point that I've done more than just watch a few episodes of X-Files.

There are lots of life forms out there. There are trillions of stars like our Sun. Each with it's own planetary system. Some have life forms far below ours. Others probably have life so advanced we don't possess the intelligence to comprehend it.

To think or say we are the only intelligent life in a universe this vast? It is laughable at best.

What does concern me though is the revelation by the US military that these things are 'real'. And by 'real', all they are saying is that certain objects appeared on radar or viewed by personnel exist, aren't glitches in any system or known craft operated by OUR country. But if that's true, why isn't our military doing more to find out the threat of these objects?

And make no mistake, any object(s) which can fly circles around our most advanced fighters is a threat. That's how a military SHOULD look at the situation.
If alien beings are here. They are benevolent. If alien beings have not arrived. We better pray they are benevolent when they arrive.

Any civilization with the technology to travel light years to get here. Can and will do what they want with the Earth and it's population. Much like the movie The Day the Earth Stood Still. Gort the Robot was capable of destroying the Earth.

I personally believe the Earth was seeded. Everything works too perfect to be a random event.

We are somebody's ant farm.

And you know what that means, right?

More taxpayer money being poured into offices, bureaucracy, reports, staffing, security... and what will it yield?

"Needs more study".

Sure, if you ignore the 7 (or more) extinction level events which have occurred, wiping out 50% or more of all life on the planet.

Doesn't sound too perfect to me.

As a side note and maybe off topic (but this is the OT after all), I worked in south Texas several years. I witnessed a few of the UFOs/UAPs people talk about from down there. An interesting observation I made is that on days when there were lots of military aircraft on maneuvers, sonic booms, and etc., it was on those nights that the unidentified flying shite would show up.

Not a coincidence. Is it ours? Or is it our things drawing attention from other things?

I think its likely that there is something out there and we simply have no clue what it is. I also think its likely they are revealing limited information.

If Bob Lazar's story is true then the US military has known about UAPs/UFOs since at least the 80s. What he claims to have seen (up close, in the military's possession) seems similar to what was captured on the fighter jet's radar.

I believe there is life on another planet. We are here so I don't think its too crazy to assume somewhere else there is life, but there really isn't much else to say about the topic because of the limited information and even with the information, there is nothing that has confirmed there is anything from another planet.

Its fascinating for sure. Do you think the government would be afraid to announce there is life on other planets that have been to and made contact with Earth?

I haven't read the whole thread but with what we've seen from our "government" the last few years it wouldn't surprise me if they faked it and blamed it on Trump. I'm not being funny

I see crazy sounding 2022 stats that have over 6 billion cellphones in operation. Since my mind cannot comprehend 90% saturation (for everyone, seniors, babies, every tribe and village, 90%+?), let's just say it is between 1/2 and 2/3 adults has a modern (less than 5 year old) smartphone on their person at all waking hours.

So, that constitutes billions of HD cameras. Why don't we have high resolution images of what are clearly extra-terrestrial craft?

Wiki on Military Deception

Military deception is not only a valuable tool, it is vital to operational security. Since guys were sharpening flints to attach to nice straight limbs that Gorog found while out hunting. They didn't want the mountain people to know where they were getting their flints and straight limbs.

Sometimes the experiment(s) has to get reset…

Any advanced intelligence would easily use bollides to destroy surface life (from a distance) if they desired. No need to get dirty with surface life or mix flora

Congress implies UFOs have non-human origins
BY MARIK VON RENNENKAMPFF, OPINION CONTRIBUTOR - 08/22/22 1:00 PM ET THE VIEWS EXPRESSED BY CONTRIBUTORS ARE THEIR OWN AND NOT THE VIEW OF THE HILL

quote:

In Congress, where legislation is drafted, debated and enacted, clear and concise definitions are of paramount importance. As military aircrews increasingly encounter unidentified flying objects (UFOs), lawmakers recently made several striking revisions to the definition of “UFO.” Key among them: The explosive implication that some UFOs have non-human origins.

As first reported by researcher Douglas Johnson, a draft bill approved unanimously by the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence rebrands UFOs as “unidentified aerospace-undersea phenomena.” Expanding the definition to include objects in space and under the oceans significantly broadens the scope of a muscular new office tasked by Congress with investigating UFOs.

quote:

The revised definition of “UFO” also includes “transmedium” objects which, according to lawmakers, “transition between space and the atmosphere, or between the atmosphere and bodies of water.”

quote:

Most strikingly, Congress’s new definition of “UFO” excludes “man-made” objects. Over the last seven decades, most UFO sightings involved “man-made” objects, such as misidentified aircraft, balloons, satellites or drones. Yet now, according to Congress, “man-made” objects “should not be considered under the definition as unidentified aerospace-undersea phenomena.”

quote:

Make no mistake: One branch of the American government implying that UFOs have non-human origins is an explosive development.

Others observe us from where we are not (not easily):

Underwater
Underground
Remote locations (Antarctica)
Space
The Moon

They are not from other planets
They have always been “here”. Observing?

Per TTSA, they imply that humanity is a cargo cult trying to emulate “others”. They also imply that humanity was hybridized at some point (in their image). We are potentially their creation
