Charge the kid? Come the frick on. Just suspend him from the team or something. He didn't permanently hurt the guy.
And those coaches are absolute dumbasses for putting water on it. That makes it 100000x times worse. Wipe it with a dry towel off your face completely then squirt a concentrated blast to get it out your eyes.

I think its bs he smeared icy hot in an opponents eyes. Hazing a teammate with a jock full of icy hot is one thing...trying to take out a player on the other team is another. Just for the pure lack of sportsmanship he should be kicked off the team...and for the CIF to say "well we can't really do much because he wasn't ejected" is beyond retarded...if he had stomped on the kids nuts and the refs didn't see it would their hands still be tied?

Yeah that's a fair position to take.
I just think the folks screaming for legal action are fricking stupid. Its Icy Hot and this is football. People get oil checked and nut grabbed in piles every game.
