Uber allows any 4 door vehicles. Was always the rule.

Of course I do. But Uber to the bar.. Uber if I switch bars.. Uber home.

That's 3 Uber rides right there in one night. I go out about one night a week. Sometimes more. Depends.

I guess I don't do 4-5 times on average. Probably 3-4 on average. I Uber just to dinner though. I don't go to dinner without ordering drinks, and I don't drink and drive.

Where are you people coming up with this uninsured crap? They carry much higher coverage than cab companies. Are y'all trolling or just misinformed?

That ain't the issue, it's the way the insurance company they partner with have handled claims in the past (not hearing the stories as much now though). At least some insurance companies are finally offering insurance for rideshare in some states.

I usually uber twice on the weekends and always sit shotgun. I've actually never even thought about sitting in the back

Both.

I have tried twice to get in the front recently and the driver told me to get in the back. So now I'm more likely to get in the back

Back.
Unless circumstances warrant otherwise.

Btw...Uber is great.
Have used it in D.C., NYC, Boston and L.A.

May never ride in a taxi again if I can help it..

That's what I do with cabs.

If I'm sitting in the front of a cab, I will only be vaguely remembering the ride home, and almost always end up buying myself and the cabbie donuts on the ride home. Once I start using Uber, that should get me some good ratings.

I used u re for the first time this past weekend and didn't tip. Friend of mine said it wasn't expected. I guess if you're not carrying cash and the whole transaction is in the phone not much you can do.

Do we have Uber in BR? I only see about 3 taxes in any given year.

We got picked up in a Toyota truck on NYE in Charlotte. I'm pretty sure it was an uber driver. Either that or some random dude just gave us a free ride downtown.

Never tipped. Do people actually do that? Don't frick it up for the rest of us.

By myself, in the back. If with friends who haven't tried it before I take the front without mention to make them feel safer. I always shoot the shite and ask questions. I'm a 5* rated passenger, they always tell me.
