SHREVEPORT - Uber is making its way to north Louisiana, unfortunately Shreveport is not the location.
The ride sharing service is launching in Monroe on Wednesday.
Also coming to Texarkana.

pathetic. I don't think there is a city in the world that people drive drunk in more than Shreveport.

So Uber will be limited to doing business from Louisville Ave. north? I don't see where serving half a city will be profitable.

Very much needed in Monroe. Had a lot of friends drive drunk from bars or whatever because of lack of options. Those friends were retarded but hopefully this cuts down on others making the same call

They seem to work pretty well around the Baton Rouge airport. I'm sure they'll figure it out.

The problem with our group was everyone that didn't want to drink just didn't want to be bothered with going at all. I'd offer up to drive if I was needed but it was rare I was asked when I wasn't drinking with them
