Only way I can see this working is if you allow female drivers to cancel rides on the spot at their own discretion…which sounds like an argument, fight and/or lawsuit waiting to happen.
As a guy with daughters and a wife, I fully support being able to select a female driver though.

Dude it’s not an option for the driver to pick up only women, it’s an option for women to be picked up BY a woman.

Right, and what I said makes it easy for a guy pretending to be a woman to get a woman driver. It could be putting women drivers at risk because a woman (or someone posing as a woman) can guarantee a female driver.
ETA I’m just saying it’s not a guarantee for the selected female driver to be picking up a woman. It’s not fool proof.
Allegedly making it safer for the passenger while potentially exposing something putting female drivers at risk.

So now we have finally defined what a woman is? Why is she getting paid less than a man driver? I will always request the woman driver from now on to save money
