Yeah.. Good luck going to court with that. If someone goes to the hospital and doesn't get treated and they die, that's on the hospital.

And if said patient lived off fast food their entire life, with shite parents. Is it still the nurses fault, who earned a degree?

The nurses told CBS 42’s Art Franklin that patient care is not being compromised by the collection action.

So wait, they aren't working at all but the patients are receiving the same quality of care?

How the hell does that work?

They could try to make a case for patient abandonment.

If substantiated the nurse would lose their license.

You really are an idiot.
Comparing sports to medicine.

I used to think people here were really harsh to you.
Then I read more of your posts and realized on the whole they are too nice to such a pompous loquacious vacuous idiot.

Good for them. Unionized nurses are better compensated and are able to secure better benefits. I hope UAB unionizes.

Negative ghost rider. Until they clock in and take report they are in no way responsible for pt care. If they walked out and left a pt uncared for that would qualify.

Look, Alabama pays the shittiest wages, offers the worst working conditions, and treats nurses like arse. The sooner the RNs there unify the better their circumstances will be. I guarantee the suits are all getting paid better and no one in dress shoes and a suit ever saves a pts life.

Don't say you'll do the job for 25 an hour and they'll have to raise the wages.

No union necessary.

They are willing to work, they just want to be paid more. The hospital refused to do what they could have in order to get the nurses back to work, which put their patients at risk. Togg78.

Good luck trying to fight that. But hey... You know it all.

Article says Alabama nurses are paid 8% less than other states.

Which would be interesting if true.

Seems clear, at this point, that no one redeemable works at UAB in the medical field.

Yeah. Not all nurses are created equal. I don’t Tiktok and I am very well compensated. My contract is renegotiated every 2-5 years and as circumstances change the contract changes as well. I’m unionized and have worked in the state of Alabama. I speak of shite I know. You?
