I was about to come post this but with better context

quote:

Growth rates are determined by the net gain of one-way U-Haul trucks entering a state versus leaving that state in a given year.

Aka california had the most people leave and the least people come

zero hedge

In July, we noted some people in Illinois waited nearly three weeks for a U-Haul truck as the pandemic plus the state's dire fiscal situation resulted in an exodus of residents.

Exactly. Elon Musk may be moving to Texas but he's bringing a horde of poors with him.

Notice where Arizona and Nevada are on the list. I think these two are actually blue states now thanks to California.

Go do a Uhaul rental one way from Texas to California on any date you want. Then change the search from California to Texas and see the price difference

ETA:

Just did Austin to Los Angeles on Feb 9 (one month from now) - $748 for 15 foot truck

Los Angeles to Austin same date - $2,895 for same truck

When your state is the only red state in the bottom ten and the next closest red state is South Dakota at 37 and the next closest southern state is Mississippi at 31, you know you're a fricked up state and you made a huge, huge mistake putting a liberal piece of shite like John Bel Edwards into the Governor's mansion.
