What's the point of a gpa over 4.0?
Some systems have honors and AP/IB classes count more. Mine had A's equal 5 for AP/IB and equal 4.5 for honors.

What's funny about this whole thing is by and large people on this forum bitch and moan about a certain generation being easily offended. Then some 18 year old Mexican girl comes along, makes strait A's and puts a Mexican flag emoji in a twitter post and grown men on tiger droppings are all of a sudden OUTRAGED.
She is breaking the law and gloating about it. You are the precious snowflake saying we should forgive her because she is well read. She is illegal. 15 million on waiting in line - time to swap

not really
she enrolled in DACA so she is within the laws
now we can disagree with the law, but she is not breaking the laws currently
her parents broke the law when they brought her in illegally when she was like 2

I'm not going to pretend we haven't regressed, but prior generations were fighting wars and starting families at her age. Setting aside what they wanted to do to accomplish what they had to do.
Her mistake isn't unforgivable, but it's a mistake, and she should be rightly criticized. If she figures out she is wrong, and shows loyalty to the US, good for her.
I don't care if immigrants from Mexico retain some of their heritage and take some pride in the accomplishments of their former country. But plenty of those people don't wear red white and blue, and can be found doing things like cheering against the United States in soccer and throwing bottles at USA fans.
Jeusfrickingchrist are you serious? That's your argument?

OMG how can she put that shite hole countries flag on her twitter. Triggered. Go back to mexico if you love it so much blah blah blah blah
Most people are just reacting to a viral tweet. It's not like they're combing twitter for examples and getting worked up. It's basically presented to us as "how do you feel about this" and people are going "uh, that is shitty."
Plus, this girl is now learning the first rule of America, which is, of course, "dont start none wont be none"

That sucks. I was in those classes but they weren't credited like that.
I WANT JUSTICE!

What would constitute ugly legs to her? Albino?

not really - yes really. Being illegal is illegal. You think she is immune forever because of her parents? It is an ongoing. Trespassing and she is old enough to be accountable now or very soon

not under the current laws
you can disagree with them (I do in some ways), but under the current laws she is not breaking any laws

A foreign national of any age permanently residing in the USA without an appropriate visa is breaking the law. Not sure why you think otherwise. It is not just the act of sneaking across the border (that was one issue). Violation of visa laws is another. Working at CVS is another.
How many does she have to break for it to count?
Posted on 6/10/16 at 9:38 am to igoringa
She is exempt under the DACA
Posted on 6/10/16 at 9:41 am to Street Hawk
It would have been cooler if she had replaced 'nice legs' with 'no gag reflex'.

It's really weird how people come over here with the mentality that they hate America.
My father came to this country and he loves it. He doesn't care for US soccer, but he cares about our politics, culture, education, etc. He accepted America as his new home. If you ask him what nationality he is, he says American.

She is exempt from punishment under DACA - doesn't change the violation of civil immigration law

Better than the tards that Louisiana gives tops too.

Might want to rethink that one.
