must have been a stupid class she was at the top of because she sure was stupid to rub this in everybody's face

If she was white she wouldn't have a full paid scholly.

She is PROUD to be here illegally. Do you think she has any desire to improve the country? She just waited until she felt untouchable to announce she is proud to NOT be an American. If she really just wanted to provide a better life for her family she wouldn't feel the need to shoot her mouth off on Twitter. I won't even bring the "nice legs" or whatever part into this.

No she is stuck in an awkward spot while waiting to get citizenship which can take decades. In the meantime the GOP has elected an assclown that wants to kick out every hard working Mexican out of our country.
I am all for getting these people off the free ride but deporting them isn't the answer.
I grew up with and around first generation legal Americans. Hardest working people I have ever been around.

Kind of late to this party, but has it been disclosed if she applied to UT as an illegal immigrant?
I would hope she will be denied taxpayer funds if not.
I have no problem with her getting educated there though, provided she either pays her own way or becomes a citizen.

I took a shite load of y'all's money to pay for TOPS before I ever paid taxes.

That's all been decided by Plyler v. Doe (Edit: just for K-12, that is). They can deny or give in-state tuition (see below).
UT officials have already said that illegals are eligible for grants and other aid. Yes, illegals get welfare and benefits.
Moreover, illegals are eligible for in-state tuition at Texas public colleges. That's the fault of Texas Republicans.

Along with the use of "assclown" make you seem very emotionally driven. This country can't take care of the over producing poor people that are born here. So instead of a process to get in we should just let everyone in and allow them to stay?

This should enrage every taxpayer in Texas.

That doesn't bother me so much as them actively getting funds diverted from legal citizens.

She had a part time job, went to school, earned straight A's and was given a scholarship for her hard work. What the frick more could you ask for out of a highschool aged kid?
That's great and all. So what, you going to pick and choose who is worthy of citizenship? Who is worthy of staying illegally in this country?
Problem with Latinos. They won't assimilate. And regardless of their grades in hs, which is easy as frick, they should all go through the proper channels.
If we keep allowing this shite to happen, won't be a country left for your children.
And in her case, instead of spending money on school, the family can continue to send it to Mexico, bleeding money out of our country.

Just because she is undocumented doesn't mean she hasn't been granted deferred status under DACA
She was granted DACA status, so she is not "undocumented" (she later clarified that), but DACA was an illegal executive order from our illustrious, lawless President Obama to bypass Congress.
This is for the Austin one, I don't know about the one in McKinney (yep, there's been two pipe up).

Yeah, I clarified that. Sorry.

Latinos are the biggest fans of every pro-sports team. This isn't because they love football. It's "hey what's more American then loving the Cowboys"

I suspect this Austin girl will be rolling tortillas with a nino on her hip within the next two years.
