Did his house ever sell? I remember someone linked an MLS listing and the pictures showed the most awesomely gaudy LSU super-fan decor. There was also quite an argument about it being in “Old Metairie” per the listing agent, as it was north of I-10.

Wow.. We were coming home from my son's first communion and saw all the cops on Bonnabel. We made a slight detour to see what was going on..

Don't think I've ever seen so many cops cars in one place...

Person that bought it tried to turn into a law office but the neighborhood shot it down, pardon the pun...

Guy rented it out with a big section 8 available sign to get back at the neighbors. Don't think anyone ever rented it... if they did it was for a short time, never see any cars in the driveway.

The more astute neighborhood balkanization pundits have moved on to the question of whether the neighborhood around Holy Cross is "Gentilly."

I drive by there all the time, especially on the way to Martins. Never see any movement.

Classic. Big Lee was smiling down from heaven at that sign.

FYI, 86 Girl video and GIF have been taken down from the internet.

I'm heart broken.

Say what now?

A google for "86 girl LSU" turns up some arse shaking gifs.

It’s been a while since I went on a pilgrimage to Big Lee’s house. I’ll have to go on one tomorrow.

Was he buried in the LSU coffin? A quick google search pulled up this video from when he was alive.

I went to get one of the big #1 Mikes on the trees but they were gone... I got the oval sign in the front window... Just threw it away... it fell apart since it was basically made of wafer board and I had it screwed on my back fence... Weather destroyed it...
