These stories are just political clickbait. Nobody's constitutional rights are being violated. They broke the rules, now they have to pay the price.

I remember that before Columbine, but that pretty much changed everything

I don’t think Columbine changed things. There’s just another dynamic at play in this generation that wasn’t at play when we were kids. So what was it?

Well, for starters, we didn’t have video games that glorified mowing`innocent human beings down with a gun or a bus, a car, an attack helicopter, or a baseball bat. We also didn’t have anti-depressant pills we dolled out to kids like candy because they were unhappy or depressed, and so we learned how to cope, whereas magic happy pills don’t do that. We also had a pretty much universal set or values that we never questioned, and today everything is questioned, even whether having a penis means you’re a male or not.

These kids have been mentally raped.

This is what I hate about the Left when it comes to guns. They make them out to be these just destroyer of the world when they’re not. They teach kids that they should be afraid of them and should NEVER have one under any circumstances.

I was in NYC during the holidays, I saw multiple signs there saying “having a gun doesn’t make you a man.”

Yeah no shite, but being able to protect yourself and your family definitely does help make you a man though.

Nope, school is going to get sued. This is getting beyond ridiculous.

Not sure on the video games. I have played these (Doom, Grand Theft Auto, etc...) and never once thought about going to do in real life what I did on the game. Perhaps it was because I was older when I played them...

The bill of rights protects your rights from being infringed by the government. Not private entities when you’re a willing participant. Same thing as if you told your employer to go frick themselves. You have freedom of speech but he can still fire your arse.

Played Pac-Man the other day. Then I got a compulsion to start chugging pills and sit in the dark listening to electronic music.

I would agree with this but were they on school grounds with said weapons? No, it was a picture of them at a shooting range.

Not sure how it made it to the handbook without someone saying, hey this may not be the greatest idea.

If this was enacted around the time of Sandy Hook I wouldn't be surprised to learn that the vote was unanimous. I feel like that was when the extreme "ban all guns" sentiment started. The school probably received kudos for it's hard line, zero tolerance stance.

Wouldn’t hardly be any kids left in attendance across the south if this were national policy. That is beyond retarded to try and enforce control outside of the school... I hope they get sued

So per policy they don't even have to actually be in possession....just reported to be in possession.

What moron wrote that policy.

Best thing that ever happened to those kids. College tuition won’t be a problem and they will drive to school everyday in a hummer H2
