re: Two cops shot in Mandeville - 1 dead, suspects in custody

I heard that the chase went down Monroe street in Mandeville up to northbound causeway blvd and then they u turned to head south over by banner ford

This is right down the street from the Shell station where a customer shot another, aggressive customer just last year. I am willing to bet that this area is literally one of the safest in the entire state. Freak coincidences.

Just heard from a firefighter friend that the officer who was killed was a higher rank, was in an unmarked pickup and was shot through the door. I think they’re searching for the gun right now.

And what critical error did they make?

This a sad reminder of the risks that our police take even in safe towns like Mandeville where an officer rarely gets confronted with aggression like this.

People who want to diminish the importance of the job, kneel before the American Flag, and otherwise complain about Law Enforcement as though they’re all a bunch of criminals can litteraly go frick themselves.
