I don’t think they charged the second person. It appears he was just a passenger and the events that followed were out of his control.

NOLA.com said he received injuries in the wreck at the end of the chase. Maybe he is in hospital? Only thing I can think of.

Not confirming he is in hospital just saying he was injured. But it’s the only thing that makes sense to me. Unless the passenger wasn’t involved in the shooting and they were questioned and released. But that is usually released to the media.

I would think being a light skinned colored kid, son of a minister that went to a predominantly white catholic high school, went to a predominantly white private college, played rugby with a bunch of white boys...
He was probably told over and over that he wasn’t “black enough” not “thug enough”. Felt like he had something to prove that he wasn’t “bout it bout it”.
He starting living that thug life and then shooting a cop would give him some street cred.
Now death row is what he has to look forward to.

I was on 22 when this happened. I had multiple cops behind me that were unable to pass because of the construction shite show that prevents anyone from going around as the middle of the road is torn out.
