That is criminal, it that was a charity, they would be called out and investigated, and have their status revoked.

No. If St George has an ISD that tax would be in addition to the EBR Parish taxes. You would still pay COA, CATS and Library among others.

If SG had an ISD property taxes you now pay to the EBR system would no longer go to the EBR System, instead they would go to the SG ISD. This happened already in Central and Zachary.

SG property owners do not pay CATS now, and that would not change.

You are correct about the Library and the COA. SG would pay them no matter what.

Well, they're a 501(c)3, so they technically are a charity.

xxx, as you have said, this service is critical to the elderly of our town. However, I certainly will not vote to levy the tax until I feel very confident that the leadership and accountable for the agency and its spending of our tax dollars are strongly delineated in our agreement with the agency.
Thank you for taking time to share your thoughts with me; please always feel free to email or call me about any issue. Also, thank you for your compliments concerning our meeting with your neighborhood.
Sincerely,
Barbara

So Frieberg essentially green lighted this massive tax to a bunch of incompetent degeneratives and claims to be a republican. Mmmmkay. Somebody please run against her asap. Easy target.

Seriously, after watching this and the overall condition of BR, if you have any family still living there tell them to get out. It's been steadily declining since Judge Parkers ruling which destroyed neighborhood pride in neighborhood schools.

Many may want to point out little beacons of light around the town but as a whole it's fricking done. You have people who can't speak proper English running the town and deciding how to spend your new tax dollars. fricking disgrace.
