Maybe if your video did more than have women at like they were fricking and actually danced then that's a possibility. But yeah that would involve you being a different, not trashy as hell, kind of artist.

Damn, I really thought you would go for the white feminist over the black race baiter. Shocking development.

eh, theres a problem in the (white) feminist community with undercutting the struggles and biases against women of color face. Nikki was right on. Taylor had a chance to acknowledge this and use her platform to discuss it, but she made it about herself. #notshocking.

I'm not always confident. Just tired. Black women influence pop culture so much but are rarely rewarded for it.

Nicki's argument is kind of flawed. Last summer, people loved Iggy Azalea.

Well our society loves black women and women of colors assets...not on women of color.

Let's not act like Swift's broken some milestone with her music videos.

Also, the music video "Anaconda" couldn't be about anything else.

Shes right.

Currently, women of color have shaped the new trend of beauty, but they hardly get the credit

I just watched Nicki's after this whole thing.

The thing that I find funny is Nicki's comments about "thin women". Isn't this the same girl who got arse and boob implants to make herself more "thick"? Even amongst white guys, people's biggest complaint about Tswift's looks is that she needs to eat a sammich. I think it's pretty clear society prefers curves

The article is making this a race issue. But the actual tweets have more to do with body size and music imo.

Right... It's OK for the black person to be all about him/herself but let the white person do it instead of bowing down to bullshite claims and the world is ending.

I guess in your world white people should just bow down and admit defeat every time a minority tries to claim they've been wronged due to race. Even if the claims are complete bullshite and unsubstantiated.
