Agreed. One is a government building. The others are privately owned and paid for locations.

One is the correct focus of ire against government failure. The other is simply an excuse to steal and destroy others' hard work.

Someone asked about the potential foe civil war a few days ago.

My answer at the time was “7-8 with a potential to hit 11 if the Dems go full retard.”

They appear to be speeding toward full retard as we speak.

Doesn't matter. It's going to happen.

This is a comment I would expect from a Trump loyalist. But I don't blame you, you have to find any way possible to discredit people who is smarter than you.

No. What it would allow for is lawsuits against social media companies for selectively editing content, just as traditional media companies like the WaPo and NYT are liable.

Right now Facebook, Twitter, etc. can all selectively edit content with zero legal repercussions under the auspice that they are "neutral platforms", which is complete and utter horseshite.

Two things:

1) the people in this thread who are applauding this move most definitely have two brain cells

2) called it

Can someone explain to me something, honest question. Trump and other Republicans have advocated to remove the social media’s liability shield. This sort of action, banning Trump, is exactly the sort of thing the social media companies would be forced to do if this liability shield is removed. Isn’t this inconsistent? Honest question as I’m just trying to understand here

This is correct and they haven’t even stopped to think that tiger droppings is also under the same protection. I highly doubt chicken wants to be liable for what’s posted on here.

Not saying it shouldn’t be modified, but revoking is asinine.

These are the people who eliminated the filibuster, because they couldn't imagine a day when they wouldn't control the Senate.

That's one of the reasons I think they're so dangerous. Nancy is also drunk half the time.

You’re not paying attention if you don’t at least consider that’s the case. Maybe some years from years from 1929-1939, and all years before 1964 if you’re minority, but for a white guy, yeah, it’s 1864.

It's certainly as turbulent as 1968 at the minimum.
