No doubt in my mind that the perpetrator will spend the vast majority of his life in prison, for this and/or other crimes, or he'll die on the streets. Rinse and repeat.

That's fair, you could probably say a little hyperbole but only because the attacker most likely has an iq so low he couldn't be expected to understand that slamming a head into a concrete wall or kicks to the head/throat area could seriously injure or kill someone. It was unfair of me to assume he had anywhere close to the intelligence of a reasonable person
