This is so true!!! Any so called man around there should be ashamed of himself!! I'm 65 years old and I would have been on his arse. Hopefully someone else would have the balls to step in and help. All these tough guy “I’d knock his arse out” morons… it’s easy to tell who’s never been to the big city. That guy 100% had a weapon likely a gun. Someone would have gotten stabbed or shot, suspect disappears into the crowd and now the victims family is left mourning a loved one. She didn’t deserve to get hit but it was dumb to engage that clown. This is the new world. Don’t have to like it but you damn sure have to deal with it.

I live in one of the biggest, baddest cities there is. Have for some time. I agree there is a significant risk in intervening. But your sentiment is a prescription for living in fear of lawless goons and allowing them to dominate public spaces. Zero of the blame resides with the victim in this instance. What was her sin? Daring not to be cowed by a lunatic? All of the blame falls on the perpetrator. He should be punished. End of story.

Yea its not as cut and dry as people act like. Attacking the guy when hes done attacking only serves to escalate the situation and endangers every other innocent person on the train. The guy definitely deserves to get his arse beat but the safety of passengers is more important than retribution. In that particular situation, someone should have bowed up to the guy without attacking.
That being said, if that were one of my loved ones, all bets are off and Im throwing haymakers at that son of a bitch

Pretty sure that plays out differently in TX or LA, or most places other than NY or CA. Also that boy hits like a girl, nobody should have been worried about him after seeing that flaccid arm throw a punch.
