A co-worker took me to one last year. The grilled wings were actually pretty good.

I know the one in BR was projected to make an $800K profit last year but instead finished $100K in the hole. Definitely some shenanigans going on

Also had been told a while back that they were considering converting it into a Toasted Yolk Cafe once the old pimp-y man who owns that franchise location kicks the bucket

There are a couple of guys at work who are going to be really upset. They eat there every Friday.

I went a couple times in college when the BR location opened. Went again for a fantasy draft a couple of years ago and the place was just sad. I didn't remember it being like that but I was also 21 or 22 the last time I'd been. I had the pot roast and had to have my buddy pull over on 61 so I could blow my guts out all over the shoulder

I've only been to the Shenandoah location and they were always packed, their steak salad was great and Dirty Blonde was my favorite beer from there.

Ojos locos is better

Ojos locos flirts more with actually being a strip club, but I don’t find the food as good and you may get shot there.

Of course, I’ve only been to the Ojos next to the hotel in McAllen. I went for convenience thinking it was just a wing place and saw a big girls arse as soon as I walked in. Must’ve been string bikini night. The overall clientele were pretty sketchy though and didn’t feel very safe there.

I think the death of the breastaurant has more to do with people under 40 being too lazy to eat out and get everything door dashed. Used to have some fun lunches with coworkers at these places on casual Fridays while ranking women in the office on our metric spreadsheet. Teambulding exercises you don’t get working from home and ‘doing your job’ just as well.

Tia Juanitas. Pretty popular in SeTx.

We ate at the Tia Juanita's Fish Camp location in Longview, TX, and it was pretty good. We had gumbo, oyster po-boy and fries, and a fried shrimp dish. No complaints, and the service was good too.

It was pretty busy on a weekday at lunch, but it was set up for even bigger crowds. Big space with a huge parking lot. Reviews made it sound like they are filling it up on weekends.

Tilted Kilt is still open in a few locations...

At one time, I think there was a Hooters, Tilted Kilt and Twin Peaks with a mile or 2 of each other near Dobbins AFB in north Atlanta.

Made for variety when on a business trip :-)

Killed off by OnlyFans. The girls can make more money taking their clothes off than slinging beers, and never even have to leave their apartment.

Just think about how crime-free those neighborhoods will be once that happens.

I feel like there was not a single Lindsey Pelas reference in this whole thread, and now I feel old.

Went to the one in Mesquite back in 19. Trashy, crappy looking tattoos, and ugly women. Cold arse beer though.

Fun times back in the day waiting for the temp readout to go as low as possible before ordering another round of beers. Simpler times
