Does that mean they removed the Confederate flag?

I find it funny when we go through the annual "Reggie's is Racist" thread. I'm shocked this one wasn't started by Clarke Perkins. That dumbass is overdue for a fake racism accusation. It has been almost a year.

What hipsters, SJWs, and the ghetto don't understand is that Reggie's (and every other TigerLand bar) doesn't want their business. Their money comes from white Greeks first and white non-affiliated students second. Those two follow white sorority girls wherever they go out. Nobody in those demographics wants to be bothered by SJWs, and the white women do not want to be harassed by some hoodrat who buys one cheap drink early in the night then spends the rest of the night in the corner yelling at sorority girls. It's basic bar science, even if it's not socially acceptable to say.

As for the "Reggie's is asking for trouble" comment in the OP. Reggie's does not fricking care. They don't care one bit. I haven't been in there since they reopened, but up until very recently, they had a full Confederate flag on display in the back of the bar. They almost certainly only issued an apology to shut her up and pretend to play nice so the next time they have to go to court they have one less bullshite accusation to deal with.

No doubt. The only reason that flag came down was because some football players threatened to hop the bar and rip it down one night.

A lot of TigerLand bars use used cups that have been washed. Most people just don't realize it.

"The cups were accidently removed off of a top shelf by an employee by mistake".

That's redundant. Accidently removed by mistake?

I am not questioning this because of what is on the cup, I am just questioning the situation.

So the employee accidently removed these cups from the top shelf and didn't notice what was on the cups before using them?

Reggie's needs a PR rep. He should have said "At one point we ran out of cups and the only thing we had available to serve our customers, were these cups. We used them in the past, but quickly discontinued to do so when we realized it was offensive to some of our customers. We should have handled this situation better than we did. We take this very seriously and do not want to offend any of our customers, who we are thankful to have."

There always seems to be drama surrounding this place. It seems like it would try to clean up its image.

Reggie's is trying to have a NAACP boycott started against them. Good business move.

No kidding. In college I was a bouncer at a bar that was slammed almost every night. Wednesday nights in particular were crazy, as it was $5 all you could drink from 9-midnight. That place was killing it and they made money by the truckloads. It was so packed, you could barely move inside.

Then one night a black guy showed up. No biggie. But then he brought 3-4 guys with him the next week. A few weeks later, there were 10-20 black guys and racial tension led to fights. By the end of the month there were at least 100 young black males there and the "culcha" was on full display.

The frat stars and sorority girls stopped coming and in a near instant the club lost popularity. Inside of six weeks the place was a ghost town and the owner had to close it down soon after.

The night club crowd is notoriously fickle and I get why a place like Reggie's would do everything they legally can to protect their business. It sucks but I would do the same thing. If I ran a family business, I'd run it to maximize earnings and not run a SJW camp.

this is the exact thing that happens to neighborhoods. a certain cultcha is not wanted because it brings property value down.
