ISWYDT but my post was about the N Word. Does the N-word have a double meaning?
Maybe I am missing something so educate me but I always assumed by both definition and slang terms it was derogatory.

He said she said. But it is pretty telling that the owner didn't even try to deny or defend himself one time.

The word most definitely has a double meaning.

More eye opening than the language is simply that a restaurant owner in 2024 would seemingly have an issue with white and black people simply sharing a dinner table.

What are they?
We all know what cracker is both by definition and by slang standards
So what is the double meaning of the N-word by definition and slang terms?

Just like the Stabs thing, this owner is also going to have to do some damage control. Theyll have to get rid of that old man or else this is going to doom them.

But if I went to a restaurant and my wife was called a slur, I’d be all up in that persons arse.
I guess I am just too old for the drama. I would walk out and never go there again. No doubt I would tell family and friends about it but I wouldn't film it and make a huge scene and post it all on social media. Also, this is not 100% my choice to handle it by walking out. My wife is pretty introverted so this would embarrass her to no end. She would rather leave versus causing a scene too.

IOccasionally I hear something that probably would not have been said by someone who knew me better.
I don't tattle to my wife, or make a scene, or do much of anything. I might say something, if I see a way to do so diplomatically or humorously, but often people get defensive if called out. They fall back on the "black friends" thing and don't learn anything. Why bother?
All in all, I think I dislike the guy who made the scene much more than the redneck (see there?) who said a word I don't like, once, for some reason.
You and I are the same and that is pretty much how I handle it when I hear or see something.

it most certainly does which I pointed out in the post response to you above. Again, I don’t think you are this simple but perhaps I’ve misjudged you.
and this might be the dumbest conversation I’ll engage in for many weeks. I already regret my involvement. Carry on

I wouldn’t film a damn thing. Nor post shite on any social media. I don’t even have those apps.
Best rest assure I would address the situation with the ignorant individual as respectfully as I possibly could.
I’m not about causing a scene. Just doing what’s right.

Anybody that’s that old and has a girlfriend is a racist or a pervert. Or both.

Yeah I get that and have done so before and my wife got really nervous about it. She's pretty shy like I said. We are complete opposites in that regard so I respect her choice on how to handle it since she is the one affected by it.
Posted on 7/28/24 at 10:56 am to stout
That definitely helps that she’s reserve. The last thing you need in those situations is your wife getting loud and obnoxious about the insult.
Which in turn would push you even further to making a scene.
