He's a US citizen.

quote:

Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, known professionally as Bad Bunny, is a Puerto Rican rapper, singer, and record producer.

If you didn't know, Puerto Rico is a US territory.

I know several Gulf War era Marines from Puerto Rico.

quote:

Puerto Ricans are U.S. citizens by birth, though their citizenship is defined by statute (an act of Congress) rather than by the U.S. Constitution. This statutory citizenship was granted in 1917 through the Jones-Shafroth Act and is not the same as constitutional citizenship, which affects certain rights such as voting in presidential elections and representation in Congress

quote:

Puerto Rican citizens do not need a passport to travel to the U.S. mainland because they are U.S. citizens, and travel between Puerto Rico and the United States is considered a domestic flight. Puerto Ricans can use their driver's license or other government-issued IDs to travel within the U.S., similar to any other U.S. citizen.

Society is punished by OP. OP is reason why we have warning labels. Understand that analogy?

If you can’t appreciate his music it’s okay to admit you have bad musical taste.

I got through the first 30 seconds of that song and it sounded like typical Mexican music, that genre of music is not for me

We're aware. Then why is he so scared of ICE and not wanting to perform in the mainland?

Think he is "scared" for the people who attend his concerts.

+1 it's amazing how many people don't know this. Did you see that clip with Tomi Lahren?

Because he doesn’t want them to target his crowd. Dude is giving up millions of dollars by taking a stand, whether you agree with it or not, it’s admirable.

Supporting illegals in this country is admirable? That's certainly a take

It’s an homage to El Gran Combo, a Puerto Rican salsa band.

Or he could, maybe, actually try to help them out by educating illegal aliens on the process to get citizenship, or maybe help them leave if they aren't citizens. But noooo, he'd rather espouse how terrible the United States is...while he rakes in millions.

Not sure if only, but likely some. My reasoning would say more than some other artists.

US Citizen Detained Twice By ICE

quote:

An Alabama man is suing the Trump administration after immigration agents arrested him twice in three weeks despite having a valid REAL ID and U.S. citizenship

quote:

There were two crews on site, according to the complaint filed Sept. 30 in U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Alabama. Five Latino men, including Garcia Venegas, were there to set the foundation. A separate crew of two Black men and two white men were there to deliver the concrete.

quote:

The complaint alleges that, without a warrant, "officers ran right past the white and Black workers … and went straight for the Latino workers."

No but if you can’t see why he would be worried his fans, that are overwhelmingly Hispanic, might be worried then you aren’t living in the real world.
