Yay! Because we all know there are too many tuna in the sea, and we need to employ all the most effective technology we have.

People already do this type of fishing with kites, so really you just get the camera advantage. Don't know what the big issue would be to make it illegal.

I've seen where people use them for red fishing in the marsh to take a look into duck ponds and stuff without having to actually go in them. They don't really fish with them though. Seriously would think of bringing one tarpon fishing in the Gulf if I had one. 75% of it is locating the fish.

Cheaper but looks like you would be reeling a lot more than on a boat.

I was pretty cynical when I clicked, but ended up liking it a lot. not very practical at all, but a pretty interesting thing to do. no telling how many days they messed around with it trying to get it to all come together while filming.

I would be scared of the line not releasing the drone and the tuna pulling the drone into the salt water.

But kudos to those guys. I wish I was their neighbor.
