99% of the "cops are racist" bullshite comes from nosey neighbors calling something in. Most departments require a response to every call. It's not the cops' fault.

I’m white and the same thing happened to me in Lakeview long ago. There had been a rash of car burglaries, as there always is in Lakeview, so Cop wanted to know why me and my friends were loitering by the street. He quickly and politely left after we showed him my friend lived there.
