I raid the candies like now and laters, jolly ranchers and things these days. Favorite treat of all as a child was the popcorn ball. Even in the early 80s in madison and tensas parishes some parents were stridently against them. Funny thing was everyone knew each other. Like sister Betty was gonna kill all the kids with popcorn balls. It made no sense

Satsumas are an excellent option and perhaps should be in this list. I regret I did not think about them. Our delayed meteorological Autumns the past decade likely are to blame for the oversight as I haven’t had my first satsumas in such warm years until mid-November when the coolness has sweetened those fruits.

I was torn. Went straight for the downvote button, per usual TulaneLSU post, but hesitated because I can get behind some Halloween treats. Was going to abstain then he closed with his mother handing out bibles with the icee coupons. Why must you be this way? I don’t want this hate in my heart.
