Dear Friend,
As I’ve posted elsewhere I limit myself to one hour for each top ten. For those who say I spend too much time writing them, I respond that you’re worth it. I have stopped watching sports which also frees more time. Think about how many hours you’ve spent watching sports this year. I’ve probably spent far less time shopping, photographing, writing, and crafting. By giving up worthless things society assumes are part of our lives, like sports, great avenues are open to us, like decorating and letter writing.

I totally enjoy your Top 10 posts. How much is tongue in cheek and how much is serious is irrelevant to my appreciation of the insights and the humor. Fun is priceless. Plus the fun continues in reading the assorted responses left in reaction. Many seem drawn from the dregs of Paul Finebaum’s mutant callers audience. Thanks for providing this creative interactive approach to the usual mundane stuff on OT.

Look at these beautiful gifts I received in the post this afternoon! A dear friend got these beautiful Jim Marvin glass ornaments when she visited Barney's in NY. I've already put them on the tree! Brilliant!
