Funny how the “Palestine” protests just started up after the Hamas attacks.

If you were so concerned about the conditions, why are you just now protesting?

while true, there is no win in this situation for americans. This is what happens when you spew "Diversity is strength". There is nothing we should be doing in their holy war. Especially giving them our damn money. We got our own problems that could use that money.

To be fair there are Pro-Palestine protests and events by the NOLA DSA every month or so.

This is the same group that went up to Tulane yesterday. They are adept at making a highly charged protest. They have also sent agitators to the Israeli prayer vigils.

Except he’s correct

In the previous two presidential elections if only Jews voted the entire electoral college map would be blue. Every single state.

Jews routinely vote for platforms advocating:

- gun control
- mass immigration
- welfare expansion
- LGBTQ dissemination
- abortion expansion
- unsecured borders

It is not antisemitic to point out this reality

It is not antisemitic to point out that Jews also share a devotion to Israel. Which - funny enough - DOES have strong borders and a strong national identity.

“You can’t have those things …. But WE can!”

Most of those Tulane students live in America but were waving Israeli flags. I wonder if they would have been so emotionally moved if a truck pulled up and burned an American flag.

Thanks for reiterating the same generalization and lumping all the students together.

How many Tulane students were on the Israeli side?

You are assuming that these are in the majority in your Jewish statistics because assuming the small group was in the minority wouldn't be as edgy. A good chance that there is a Zionist minority that go to Tulane, met at the chabad, then walked 500ft down to counter protest; or yeah, use your national statistics to paint the whole group.

Some rumors going around this was all staged. The University that gave us Jerry Springer and they even named a building after him.

In sure you can find it if you went looking. I doubt any Tulane students show up on arrest records for several reasons.

American Jews run the political spectrum, from ultra liberal to ultra conservative. One of the largest republican political donors in Louisiana is Jewish. I know you are aware of examples on the liberal side.

I disagree that, prior to the 10/7/23 terrorist attack, these liberal Jews held a "devotion to Israel." I think many of them were very critical of Israeli policies.

I agree that this terrorist attack has caused a reckoning among liberal American Jews. They woke up to find out that those they supported do not support them.

The most important issue to every individual is personal safety. For Jews (as for most groups), that includes protecting the local community and Israel. When the chips are down you find out who your friends are. It appears as though Biden is sufficiently supporting Israel such that there won't be a massive change in presidential election voting. But, there is a certain congress woman out of Brooklyn who has been noticeably quieter than she probably wants to be. Hopefully she is looking for a new job next year.

Tulane is a very different place than it used to be. I have many ancestors who went there when it was mostly conservative people from uptown Nola. Now it's what you see in those videos.

Also there is 0% chance liberal American Jews vote anything but Democrat in spite of the hipster Marxist leftists in this country literally vowing to exterminate them. It is the most bizarre thing I've seen.

I've made that exact same observation before. I truly do not understand it. If there's two things Jewish people value it's family and faith. Institutions that are the literal enemy of the left.

You can be Jewish and have no faith at all. So it is hard to sum up what a political leaning is when you use such a broad classification.

I don't understand the liberal support for Palestine whatsoever. How is the left supposed to be the party that loves everyone, tolerant towards everything, be nice no matter what, but supporting Hamas and Palestine while they are yelling "kill the jews"

Can someone who is a liberal on here explain this? Do you think the Jews in America should all die?

All I know is 95% of my Jewish friends are all Republican, independent, or Libertarian these days and 10 years ago it that percentage was probably 40-60% in favor of the Democrats. I definitely see the switch taking place in massive numbers. Some of the Republicans biggest financial contributors now are actually Jewish.

Only a total nincompoop would buy this one.

I'll put it another way: It's not the Israelis committing terror all around the globe. Likewise, "white nationalist" has become a bogus political term ALWAYS coming from the far left and their puppet president. That's a fact.
