Sirens going off now
Where are you located? I always wondered why some places have sirens and others do not. I’ve never lived where they had sirens.

Places with manufacturing complexes always have sirens. St Charles parish sirens were just going off a few minutes ago.

Iberville Parish Schools Closed tomorrow . No power in Plaquemine.
That circulation center passed across Oak Hills Place and Shenandoah. No confirmation of anything on the ground; just radar indicated. Then it moved NE into western Livingston Parish.
Some intense rain earlier in the Millerville area ; but the Wind gust where manageable.

Am I correct that the thick of it is about 25 minutes in time?

Pretty much, give or take. The line is moving through at 50-60mph.

Not going to lie, stressed to the max the quail I bought just yesterday arent going to make it. Poor guys are likely experiencing a D-Day like atmosphere for them in my backyard right now

Not hard to believe with the storm motion of 50+.

I may be wrong, but every time I watch these extreme weather warnings on wdsu, the lady always has a new hairdo.

That was ridiculous. Phone goes off with crazy loud alert, get a text message telling me we’re in a warning then a few minutes later get a phone call

That rotation is just East of Mandeville. And there's a chaser right on it. It is radar indicated rotation right now.
