TIL I need a new radar app for my phone because Clime NOAA only has a tornado warning box in NBR, nothing in SBR or St. Gabriel, but people here are saying those areas are warned.
There are five or six areas of rotation within this line. These won't be long-track tornadoes if one spins up, but they're still dangerous. NWS won't warn every area of rotation, but it is best just to be ready to take shelter until this passes. If in a warning, certainly take shelter.

Probably just another Honeywell leak.

Is there a rotation headed to Prairieville?

Weather channel shows it a bit north. Heads up Shenandoah.

Not that I see - it looks like it is north of that area

Looked to be a little North of St Gabriel

What time will the worst of it be through Baton Rouge?

Currently just North of Prairieville, but is not likely on the ground.

was just about to post that.
looks like it's a broad rotation. dont see anything noticeable on correlation coefficient. storm velocity looks like the swirl is north of the warned area

I’m off college drive, it’s gotten way better the last few minutes.
Posted on 1/24/23 at 8:55 pm to gaetti15
It’s headed to south Denham now

Probably nothing but don't be fooled by how high up in the storm the radar beam is looking this far from the radar in Slidell. We can't see the lowest level of rotation.
Main reason why they're eventually going to move the Slidell radar to Hammond. To get better low level radar coverage for BR.
