The Reflectivity on that Northern warning was nasty at its strongest. Embedded debris ball was evident, and the rotation was clear, didn't even have to see Velocity.

Ryan Hall lamenting the fact he knows people are ignoring the tornado warning for that monster in place right now b/c of past experiences of getting warnings but no storm

The remainder of south Louisiana is now officially in a
Tornado Watch until 1 AM.

I just drove from Alexandria to Hammond for work and later this evening after this work thing ends I get to go from Hammond to Metairie (leaving Hammond roughly 8:15 PM)

Totally looking forward to all of this

Boat. Did all the tornadic activity go south of Starks? Wife says electricity is out but didn’t say anything about getting warned.

A confirmed tornado went between Starks and Vinton. It was probably pretty windy even away from the tornado that could have knocked that power out. It was warned though. She might have been right outside of the warning polygon.
