Because towards is definitely NOT the right move.
And you don’t beat a show in ratings when you aren’t on the same night and don’t have to go against MNF, but using Nielsen ratings in 2021 is like using Western Union to send money to a friend.

I wonder if Dynamite will drop as much as Raw did this week…..a Raw that advertised Lashley v Orton for the title and advertised a Big E cash in…..and paid it off by putting the title on E.
Although ratings be damned that was a damn good Raw.

I’m saying that having a young guy have a good program with Ciampa and taking the title off of him in a meaningful match would be the thing to do.

As someone who reached the top of the organization chart in the media analytics and measurement department for a major broadcast company, and now work as a data science consultant working with corporations on media strategy... this is 100% spot on
It's all about media mix and multi touch attribution these days. Linear TV is just one slice of the pie.

A MNF Week 1 game that went to OT didn't help. MNF is tough to beat in September. Football ratings start to dip in October unless it's a match up of contenders

Now that I buy into. Ciampa seems like the kind of guy who is happy to get paid well to get the next generation going. Same with Samoa Joe. They know their prime is over but they can still leave a legacy.
