I'm a millennial and I know how. I think you're getting your generations mixed up.

Anyway, that has nothing to do with your point. It's free on free tv and it obviously has value, to the tune of a billion dollars.

Could you do us a favor and keep your trolling out of the AEW thread tomorrow please. It would be nice to chat about the show without your shite posting and Thanos going back and forth with it.

Keep the basement stuff out of the big leagues and I may be able to do that. I have no idea why rt3 decided to start including Dirt sheet fake news in his hype for events. His original commentary was significantly better and more engaging.

so then why change the whole card for Raw

Again, according to who exactly? Who that is employed by WWE and would have direct knowledge of this occurring has said it occurred?

Thank you.

When? They sure havent appeared on Dark in the last 18 months thats for sure except Moxley who is being pushed further and further into irrelevancy these days. He was the original FED BAD signing but now they have CM Punk and others that will carry the FED BAD I ESCAPED FROM WWE SLAVERY banner. Moxley looks horrible these days - he is gaining weight, out of shape, and looks like Alex Jones

Go watch the episodes, all of them have been on Dark. Theyre not regulars nor should they be. Mox is
Further down the card? Mox is doing what he wants, he’s going to Japan. He is one of the most over (banned Term by WWE) in AEW. He’s still very much secure. He’s tagging with Sami Callahan, Eddie Kingston, Chris Dickenson, and feuding with Nick Gage. Mox does what Mox wants to do.

What those who “don’t watch” don’t realize is the chapter in the booking right now is debuting the new signings.
In fact, a few weeks ago, I correctly said, Rhodes and Mox will be taken off TV to give more time to Punk and Danielson.

It’s by design.

AEW is 2 years old, they are doing great.

Reactionary booking, if I was cheering for WWE, would make me more excited.

Watching ROH Cole vs AJ ‘14 right now, great stuff. 30 minute match. Great stuff.

sat in executive meetings with Nielsen Reps as Nielsen was scrambling to maintain its accreditation with the Media Research Council. Which they lost.

My old boss is a board member of the MRC and he voted NO on Nielsen maintaining their accreditation.

There is no currently accredited television measurement service that exists at the moment. Comscore has a high sample size but their methodology makes it nearly impossible to accurately measure demographics. Nielsen's issue is a very low sample size and difficulty recruiting a panel that is proportional to the demographics of each media market. This is why they lost accreditation.

This guy gets it. It’s been outdated for pert near two decades. Articles have been coming out questioning it for over a decade. NBCUniversal (USA’s) parent said back in 2016 that they had no faith in them and they aren’t the only network who has expressed distrust in them.

To be fair, I worked for NBC Universal in 2016 and they were saying this because at the time they were creating their own measurement service via Comcast. However they ditched that as they found that TV measurement is a lot harder than it sounds.

But they are right - Nielsen's model may have worked in the 80s when 80% of the US population watched TV every night in prime time and there were only 4 TV stations. But in 2021 its outdated.

The issue with media measurement is that its expensive for both the collector(Nielsen) and the consumer(those who purchase Nielsen data). Nielsen has to go out and recruit all these panels in the 210 media markets, and that isn't cheap. Then they need to employ data scientists to crunch the data they get.

90 minutes of last week's Raw (the most important... the start & end of the show) was used to build up to RK-Bro defending the tag title last night (specifically stated it was for last night's show) against Lashley & MVP

and then all of a sudden you just throw out what you used the biggest parts of an episode building up????

And they have no way of varying its accuracy. And I can tell you firsthand people aren’t consistent with it. Plus you are using 20k households to measure a nation with at least 110 million households. Good luck with that. There’s a reason why a lot of media companies are all in on streaming (other than the extra revenue). They can definitively tell what the user watched and for how long and how often. They may not share the real data, but they know. Peacock knows how many users are watching each PPV. They know how many are viewing RAW/NXT through the app, same with Fox and Smackdown.

Plus Nielsen is all about that SJW nonsense now anyways - by their own admission - so who really cares what they say?

If AEW was as popular as the basement claims, then they wouldn’t be getting paid a total of $45 million for their total tv rights and being demoted to TBS next year. And don’t kid yourself, TNT to TBS is a demotion.

This is indeed the main reason these companies are switching to a streaming format. Because data is expensive. It's not cheap. Having their own first party delivery service allows them to generate their own viewership data without the need to pay for a middleman. Not just that but the data is far more accurate and allows for precision ad serving that can be done in real time via auctions.

So you definitively know what the exact plans for RAW last week and this week were without working for the E? Or is this you confessing to being Bruce Pritchard?

Again, if you don’t work for them, you don’t know what their plans were and what if anything changed. Nor does Meltzer or any other dirt sheet.

I do love how you say the E is stale and boring but when they do something you don’t expect, it’s only a reaction to another promotion that they don’t care about at all. Couldn’t possibly be that they planned this knowing that their biggest competition - MNF - was coming back. You know, something it actually competes again. Because it’s on the same night. Which is how competition works.

Funny how you want to compare Dynamite to RAW yet I never hear any talk about Rampage compared to Smackdown. Why is that? Why oh why?

Wiki says TBS is in more households than TNT... hardly a demotion when you're getting put over on the channel with even more potential viewers... and won't have your schedule messed with by the NBA

My little son, you were posting AEW images from Reddit. You care very much about fans on the internet.

It’s your lack of comprehension that baffles me. Maybe it’s the Fentanyl kicking in.

The OTWC will have to strip you of your commissioner role, if you keep this up.

As a big fan of Eli Drake, I fast forwarded to catch the “main event”(YouTube TV, not wasting space on the ole DVR). Which was a storyline wedding.

But I rewound it and found a wrestling match. For the heavyweight title, with a guy as a replacement who was debuting?

I saw my main man Impact and NWA’s Eli Drake bleeding in the ring, and former NWA announcer Stu Bennett, aka Wade Barrett, commented on Drake being a mess.

Do you know why? Because you can’t say blood on WWE programming.

That’s the right the company that brought you The Brood, their kayfabe declared #1 faction of all time, has banned the word blood.

What is appealing about a wrestling promotion that insults their audience like that?

Or have you not comprehended that they think you(& the rest of their diehards) are idiots?(Which to be fair, even a broke clock is right twice a day).

then the Orton/Lashley title match would've been built for WEEKS leading up to specifically this episode of Raw to get real hype... like all of us WWE knew when the NFL season started back in the spring

network against cable isn't a fair fight... neither is primetime against late night slot

Dynamite against Raw is an apples/apples comparison

also... you say tE doesn't care about AEW... yet WWE production has been seen watching AEW programming... so someone in tE cares
