All Ex WWE going back to Chicago... they are doing that because they need the money. They know they can get a big gate in Chicago when they go there.

Exactly and I think he’s smart enough to see what guys that look like him (Cage, Hobbs, Wardlow) are getting on the other channel. If WWE brings him up and makes him a huge star at the top of the card on Raw or Smackdown relatively soon I think he could be a WWE lifer.

I mean who wouldn’t want to be on the card in Chicago if CM Punk is on it? I mean that’s pretty much true for most top guys home towns.

They just did 4 shows in Chicago and will be back in 2 months to do another one is what I was getting at. If they were as big as they say they were you think they wouldn't go back to the Chicago trough so soon

Lots of people questioning the sustainability of AEW especially with the ever growing talent payroll. But I dont know if it matters, Daddy Khan can just front another billion or so

I’m wondering about all the signings myself especially if they don’t add some more real TV time (not YouTube).

I mean they are gonna sign Wyatt, Owens, Gargano, etc evidently (at least that’s what has been alluded to) that moves 3 more guys down the card.

I believe they are cycle guys out for their offseason.

But, when they do the Trios title that will be 3 more guys with straps (banned E word) and several guys will get pushed (banned E word)

I agree with you though. They need another hour, but the new Dark studio show is promising.

Maybe 6:05 TBS?

FWIW... AEW opened all available seats allowed by their setup for tomorrow night's Dynamite at the Prudential Center (former home of the New Jersey [now Brooklyn] Nets)

will easily be their 3rd highest attended AEW show so far behind United Center Rampage & Washington DC Dynamite

only for all of those to be surpassed next Wednesday at Arthur Ashe Stadium

Believe they are allowing flex for MNF now with a 2-3 weeks notice.
I actually had to look this one up to confirm. So the report that came out was for the next TV contracts which first kick in for the 2023 season (if they're synced with the Sunday Ticket package that appears to be headed to BezosLand.) Per NFL.com the rules this year have changed slightly to prevent movement of a bunch of November games.

Cassie Lee and Jess McCkay…The IInspiration, former WWE women’s tag champs, are announcing where they wrestle next tomorrow.
Not to get technical but isn't her name Cassie Spears?

I think it's fair to say where they go may give a hint about her husband's (and that of the initial WWE/NXT to AEW group's) happiness with AEW. I really hope they go there and kickstart a legit women's tag division...not to mention sticking the fat boy in the women's division almost permanently in catering. (Wouldn't mind Nia moving over to AEW and continuing her usual tip top OSHA safety record on It. They'll be nobodies elsewhere.

I’m still not sure why they didn’t put the Steiner name on him though
Perhaps to avoid any chance of there being a battle over his name? Just look at the Rhodes name battle for the first year of AEW. Brandi was able to use it as they gave her the genetic Eden name, Cody not so much.

My favorite thing about AEW stans is when they push AEW Dark as some kind of major weekly event that is on par with Dynamite, Raw and Smackdown.

Let's be real, its a place where mid and low carders go to squash jobbers and pad their records.

You all would absolutely despise it if these same wrestlers appeared on Main Event.

I can easily watch it on YouTube and don't have to shell out more cash for Hulu to watch it

plus it has some fun segments from time to time

ETA: I miss those weekend wrestling jobber shows like WCW Saturday Night & WCW Pro

It's called knowing your market. It's a Chicago show with Punk (Chicago), Ruby (just down the road), and the other two paid their dues in Chicago. I'm far from an AEW fan but to suggest that an advertisement in Chicago means a movement in focus is a bit ridiculous.

So angry and definitely not threatened. Main Event is a show with 2 matches and 5 video packages.

Even the top of the card have appeared on Dark. No one is confusing it with Dynamite Rampage or Smackdown

Now the studio show will be different.

So you’re watching 1 developmental show in studio, but complaining about another studio show?

The mental gymnastics to hate a promotion that Fed boys constantly dismiss is hilarious. It’s pro wrestling. Various styles.

I’m watching NJPW as I type. Clearwater is a guy I follow. If I like a wrestler, such as AJ, Prince Ferg, Eli Drake, The American Dragon, Ricky Starks , as examples, I’ll follow them in any promotion.

Even if I despise the presentation,

But to each their own.

People think of Jacksonville and his soccer team overseas but his dad is the poster boy for the American dream. If you don't know, he came to the US to go to school at Illinois. From there he started his own business in Champaign (hence them getting one of the first Dynamites.) He built that business enough that he was able to buy the Jags dirt cheap. He then used profits to buy the soccer team. I think that's where his mentality is with letting his kids blow their inheritance...he's enjoying watching them have fun. In Chicago they've done to ROH what Vince did to AWA. With the uncertainties and spending a year in front of empty seats it's hard to blame them for wanting to keep going to the Chicago ATM so frequently. I like WWE but grew up seeing Verne go down to Vince. I wouldn't be too upset if AEW turned it around on him. (Though the fact that they're going to Wintrust indicates that Vince still has an iron claw on Rosemont.)

If Dark mattered than the EVPs would appear on it. As far as I know, the Bucks, Omega, and Cody have not showed up on Dark.

Just out of curiosity is Dark their NXT level show? Never watched it due to several wrestlers I have no use for usually being on it the last time I paid attention.

Dark is their Main Event/205 Live equivalent in my opinion.

Bray won’t go there but apparently everyone in WWE is going there because everyone who’s contract expires is suppose to go there and everyone’s contract has an expiration date eventually.

Let’s be honest though, Kevin isn’t a loss. They can replace Gargano in 3 weeks with another generic flippy indie midget ring wise and no one will notice the difference.

The All-Ex W(WE) is already having problem feeding the mouths they currently have and they want to add more. It’s been what? 6-7 weeks and we are already at Certified Midcarder Phil. Ole Chicago Mark isn’t that interesting unless he’s railing against The Fed (insider term). The Elite might as well call themselves discount Kliq because that’s all they are at this point.
