Any indication that it may intensify? Heading to the beach to help some friends lock their stuff down .

12z Euro initialized pretty well and is significantly farther east through 24 hours than the past few runs.

Doesn't seem like it mattered a ton for landfall. Landfall looks like it's Pensacola, but it's 12 hours earlier than anticipated last run.

I wonder since the Euro keeps it weaker it has that east trend? I'm not saying it's coming here but I saw this morning that rds dc said the new center formation could help it strengthen and that could lead to a westward shift if it got its act together. But it's already north of where it was suppose to be so it's probably correct hah.

My gut tells me this thing will intensify faster tonight and tomorrow than they think once the shear weakens. I also think it shifts west and lands around Biloxi around a strong TS or weak cat 1

I come in here to check on this storm and I see this...

He's definitely right but the window west seems limited with it being farther north. It'll round the upper low and then catch a weakness north and come in.

Looking forward to getting my GOES on this evening and watching it organize. Pensacola looks strong for landfall at this point.
