Notice all these people telling me I'm wrong but aren't telling me why. I'll admit to being ignorant to hipaa but people can't deny you because of medical reasons, that's for damn sure.
Why does Walmart let people with hiv in their stores but don't refuse service? Damn tweakwrs stroll Walmart at 2am pre covid.

HIPAA protects a person's medical records and health information. The law doesn't care if you like to wear, or need to wear a mask or not.
A private establishment can enforce dress codes or other rules they see fit as long as they're not discrinatory.
You were wrong about all of it.

The law says that you don't have to wear a mask if you have a condition. Guess who won't be seeing my records to see if I have an actual condition.
I dont know where you're at but my governor, per law and currently sued, cannot close the state more than 30 days anyways.
There are so many angles to this im telling you lawyers will feast and business owners would be stupid to refuse service.
Do restaurants care about people with HIV coming in? No, because they can't know and don't know.

A private business can set their terms of service.

So they can allow smoking in their restaurants?
No. But that’s not really in line with who a private company chooses to do business with. Any way, congrats. I guess you got me.

So when do we recall Louisiana's mask law and how it's unlawful to wear a mask in public. If it's illegal to wear a mask in public, I will not break the law by being forced by a business to wear a mask in public. Have stupid laws, win stupid prizes in the time of a pandemic
quote:
§313. Masks or hoods, wearing in public places prohibited; penalty; exceptions; permit to conduct Mardi Gras festivities, how obtained; wearing of hoods, masks, or disguises or giving of candy or other gifts by sex offenders
A. No person shall use or wear in any public place of any character whatsoever, or in any open place in view thereof, a hood or mask, or anything in the nature of either, or any facial disguise of any kind or description, calculated to conceal or hide the identity of the person or to prevent his being readily recognized.
B. Whoever violates this Section shall be imprisoned for not less than six months nor more than three years.

I say I'm not wearing a mask because I have health conditions and the mask makes it worse.
Manager asks about my condition or tells me to leave - lawsuit.
So I can go into a private store in my birthday suit because I have eczema (health condition) and my clothes make my skin itchy?
The more you know.

If I come back in wearing a mask, I'm not paying for shite.

Not true.
There are certain categories that cannot be discriminated against - race, ethnicity, etc.
Health is not one of those categories.
