Looking to see if any of y’all know of a reliable and trustworthy mechanic in Houma? Used to use Weaver who was fantastic but it doesn’t seem like he is still in business. Brought my 4Runner to Chabills recently and they basically botched the job. TIA

Delta Tire World

Those guys are great. Talk to Kenny or Tony.

Long story short. I was having issues with my front end, brought to two different places. The first wanted to charge me 1000.00 to fix the issue, the other 500.00. Went to Delta, dropped off truck....before I got home they were calling. They found the issue, my lift was loose...tightened it up.....and charged me 0. Saved me a ton of money. They will always get my business!!

There’s a dad and son who had/have a shop on Hollywood that I used to use. Good people

I forget the name, but it was on N Hollywood near the intersection of HW and Alma. Shop doesn’t look like much, but they do good work and are honest

Brakes squeaking on a 2010 4Runner, obviously thought it was the signal for new pads. Brought it chabills and they said brakes are fine then decided to do a couple other little nick backs along with changing my oil which I requested. Brakes are still squeaking, some wire is disconnected under my dash and my AC sounds like a bicycle with a playing card in the spokes. I assume that part is from something they messed up changing my air filter.

Redmond’s Repair. You’ll have to talk to Mike for the 4-runner most likely. They’re not in the business to rip people off, they just really have a passion for working on cars.

Craig Bienvenu's Auto Repair. I have taken my vehicles to him a few times and has always been reasonable.

Went to the one in Broad St to get my oil change and tires rotated. They said my truck would be serviced in less than an hour. I went to Whole Foods to grab lunch and returned an hour later only to wait another 3 hrs to get my truck back.

Not sure if it’s a shite location but waiting 4 hrs to get your vehicle serviced is outrageous.

When it comes to vehicle service just take the hit a go to the dealership.

I have never had an issue with Greg Lebanc, Geri Lynn or Trapp Chevorlet.
