The Quran verse that was previously quoted was also dropped into the discussion without any context which is exactly what I did with the verse from Deut.
The Q verse describes a war scenario when a covenant between Muslims and non-Muslims was broken. As also acknowledged in the Old Testament, the world used to be a much more brutal place.
I'm not here to argue against Christianity. It's my religion of choice. But the intellectual dishonesty abounds on all sides, IMO.

The video itself, which appears to be styled in a left leaning, progressive (ah, the horror of it all) format designed to illicit sympathy for the Muslim family is about what I would expect.
I share no sympathy for the muslims. I just don't as their purported religion and the things done in the name of it in this modern world is out to destroy much of mankind.
