More intellectual dishonesty.
It's not the religion for me and the extremists need to be dealt with but I don't get the "frick them all" camp. That's just intellectual laziness.

You can point to verses of violence in the Bible and Torah as well.
I'm not an Islamic scholar and I've never set foot in a mosque, but I know that the message from Church to Church isn't the same in Christianity and I imagine that applies in other religions as well. I've observed people of Islamic faith being very compassionate, though. Just as I have many Christians. I'll continue to evaluate people as individuals. You do you.

Depends. If you read the bible in an intellectual manner, you would come to the conclusion that Christianity does not teach such violence. Acting as if Deuteronomy is relevant to Christianity and not merely a documentation of Old Testament necessities is being intellectually dishonest.
The Quran in the other hand explicitly teaches violence. The equivalent would be if Jesus Christ commanded his apostles and disciples to kill. He commands just the opposite.
