I like it too. But I can see an emphasis on people not needing medical help but suspecting that they have Covid to receive some pressure to not report in order to decrease numbers.

No ones listening to that

What? It's 18 pages of generalizations giving 50 governors the reins.
Kind of like his 'Liberate' tweets. Notice how he didn't add Texas, LA or Alabama? That's not who he needs in November. MN, MI and VA are. It's all a game.

Hmmm? That's not how I interpreted it. I feel like it gives very clear advice on staging the return but where there are 'hot spots' (i.e., NYC, Detroit, New Orleans...), the ability to tailor in those areas is of course up to the respective governors.

No offense but if you see this is a clear concise Open America playbook - of which he has no clear stake in on the Federal level - that's fine. But let's be honest. This isn't a playbook. 50 states have carte blanche to do 50 things if they so choose. Know what I mean?

Yeah this isn't going to happen
I get the judgement behind it, but the truth is there are too many morons in the general population that will cause this to backfire. Protocols won't be followed which will result in a surge in the infection rate and we'll be right back to where we were

That is kinda how the United States of America works. It's a guideline set that can be applied to all states. I for one am very pleased he isn't trying to apply a structured ruleset to the entire country without regard for the vastly different situations state to state.
The power of the local municipalities and state governments is part of the system that makes this country so great. I think we are doing something right if people all around the world want to come and live here and in some cases are dying to do so, why copy systems from where those people are coming from?

That's exactly how I interpreted it and what I appreciated about it.

Which is honestly what it should be.
Has been great to watch the shift to State/local rights during this. Way more effective governing
