Trump's position has always been that Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon. Yes, he has very publicly stated he would prefer to use diplomacy to prevent them from obtaining one. That isn't indicative of a change in his position. Obviously, it you make a firm "you cannot" statement to an advisary, at some point you may have to force that position. That's what happened today.
Hope this helps you understand the difference between a position and a tactic.

All have had different methods available. Obama had stuxnet and used it with little rebuke. It was a direct attack on enemy soil.

No. I correctly pointed out that Trump's position has ALWAYS been that Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon. That has never changed. He has always been consistent on this. Mislabeling tactics as positions isn't going to work on me.

Well sure. It's obviously in a lot of country's best interests for Iran to never obtain a nuclear weapon. Israel is one. The USA is another. Saudi Arabia clearly believes it is another. I'm sure most of Europe would believe it is also in their best interests.
